Spraying - Help needed

Featured Replies

I have decide I am sick of boring steel wheels and rather than splash the cash on alloys I am going to get my steel sprayed still undecided on colour.

I have been quoted £20 per wheel to have them done any colour I want, but I was wondering how hard could it be to do them myself?

So has anyone ever done there own? or know of people that have?

Also what would I need to do them?

big can of primer and paint, job done easy as pie.

Where is the best place to buy it from mate?

The devil with all paint spraying is the preparation work, they need to be spotlessly clean for the primer to stick, the other vital thing is that the paint is the right temperature when you spray, best thing to do is chuck the spray can in a bowl of hot water for a few minuntes to get it warm enough
