The vrs comes with an engine bay liner and I was wondering if its safe to remove?

The engine bay gets very hot, hotter than any engine bay i've seen truth be told. I was wondering if this liner is to prevent heat damaging the paint, or just to lower the engine noise.

Any thoughts?

Ive had mine out for few weeks now and have also taken the heat shield and engine cover out along with the super charger casing but am yet to see any damage to paint work. Although i have removed the plastic between the fins so I'm getting more cold air flowing over the top of the engine.

Sounds alright then.

Can hear the blow off and supercharger a bit clearer now which is good. Love the little "Tssh" every now and again

Get the charger casing off aswell you'll love the sound.
