Grill replacement! arg!

Featured Replies

Hi all,

One of the small front/side grills on my Fabia II has vanished, went out this morning and it just wasn't there! Anyone know where I can get a replacement? I've only seem replacements for the main 2 grills online, not the little side ones.

Thanks,

Ben.

Yes it is! £14 for the lefty one (which I need), not too bad, I'll check with the dealer to compre. Thanks!

EDIT:

you can get a set of octaiva ones for 5euros! no new fabia ones though :(

EDIT 2:

I've found a place describing 'Fabia 2 (mk2) Grill - lower passenger side' - I can;t think of any other grill that could be referring to? That sound right?

Very interesting. How much did your local dealer quote you for the part?

Obviously the spares prices are not set by Skoda UK HQ as I would have expected, likewise the costs of servicing and standard work like a new clutch, new brake discs and pads etc.

Would the warranty still stand if servicing was carried out another VAG group dealer say Seat as still the same mechanicals so the same oil, oil filters etc from their stores if they offered a better price?

Most manufacturers will still honour the warranty so long as it is evident that OEM parts are used
