Bulb warning light

Featured Replies

Hi all. My bulb warning light has now come on twice. Vehicle status says to check left rear brake light. The first time it went off before I had chance to check. This time it was still on when I got home so I checked and the brake lights were ok, but the warning light was still on. It has now cleared again.

Any ideas?

i had this on mine - the brake light is an (18watt??) bulb, but is controlled under the can-bus system for Side-Slights.

In my case, it was a dodgey connection onto the bulb; sometimes it would work, others it would not... Cap-less bulb - poor design really, but it works... sometimes!

Pull it out, and try the connections - bend (gently) the connections on the bulb out a we' bit...
