I am new to the forum.

I have just traded im my old Octavia 1.9tdi estate registered 1998 for a newer version of the same, although the newer (2003) version, is the tdi Elegance and has knobs and whistles the first did not.

The vehicle is minus its owners handbook and I wish to get one to understand its controls, and it came also with only one key/remote and I wish to obtain a back up.

The original Otavia when traded in had 275000 miles on the clock and was still running well but had started to have electrical problems( window and windscreen wipers), so I thought an update was due the newer has 84000 on the clock and I hope to have a similar experience with it!!!
