dear all ,I am a skoda superb 2006 owner and I am very much a skoda fan from last 10 years, but recently I am facing a problem with my car ac, in the moring time it works perfectly but as the tempreture outside goes up the screen in side the car shows "--" and it stop working and only the fan works. is it related to electrical fults or compressor ..any body can help..I find that along with ac the cruse control also stop working.I am in UAe and the tempreture here is always goes more than 45 deg. and my car start gong me problem..please help.

In hot climates it is especially important to have the correct amount of refrigerant in the a/c.

At 45°C, the pressure in the refrigerant circuit is over 10bar without the compressor running. Too much refrigerant will cause the high pressure switch to cut off the a/c.

The other thing to check is that the radiator fans are running when the a/c is switched on.

I think it is related to some sensors, because when the ac starts the display inside the climatic also goes and "--" this come instead of tempreture.and once the car is running it is cooling properly.
