Can I use vagcom to get the part number for the instrument cluster?

You sure can. Just note down the module code.

got it now need advice. the red is the new part i got and the original is mine which can be seen, i was told part numbers vary, my brother said they might still be compatible as it may just be a changed module with superseeded numbers, they are brand new and un coded so im hoping but if anyone knows tht would be best. if no one knows i will phone skoda tomorrow and ask. if not they will be up for sale soon
