Upgraded Brakes?

Featured Replies

My car is booked in for a service next week and the brakes will probably need doing at the same time. Whilst they are replacing them, I am tempted to ask for the 'next one up' in terms of pads (discs were replaced a couple of years ago). I am hesitant about going too far up the performance scale just because of how much my insurance is & not wanting to go overboard with loading it up more.

What would the next step up from the standard OEM pads be?

cheers guys :)

Can anyone comment? :)

Search Mintex, EBC, Ferodo. Expect to pay between £60 and £100 for good pads.

EBC red are a good step up for very little money, but I'd still avoid the greens.
