VW Polo 1.05L mk3 Saloon in Red.

I bought the Polo as I’d always wanted one and had lots of plans to do it up and complete a full conversion to a G40 or similar. Plans have now changed and I have bought an mk5 R32 so this has to go. I can do a deal with or without the alloys. I have 5 13†steel wheels with near new tyres which can go on.

The car will come with 11 months MOT and 5 months TAX. Also a full HPI check to prove that its all good ‘n’ well.

The only thing that doesn’t work on the car is the temperature gauge, and the temperature light flashes. Apparently this is just the temperature sender on the engine as the car doesn’t overheat and it runs fine.

The service history isn’t with the car as the previous owner (she’s owned it for the last 13 years) used to get it regularly serviced at the college she worked at. I have no reason to doubt this as it runs fine and she genuinely seemed sad to see it go.

I have calculated the cost including buying the car to get it to the stage that it’s at now and it brings it in close to £1800. Not a clue what it’s actually worth though so open to offers, for any forum rules I’ll say £1300.

When I got the car home I put it through an MOT to see what was wrong with it, it failed on snapped spring, leaking shock, headlight alignment and fuel filter. The under side of the car has no rust problems and only a few spots which are the size of a 5p in certain areas.

Sorry for the long text here’s some pictures.

A lot of hard work has gone into this car and it doesn’t need too much more effort to get it looking even better. I turns heads every where it goes and the only person I’ve found to not like it is my mum.

I have a full build thread which shows pictures of each and everything I’ve done to the car.
