Featured Replies

Hi

I have an octy 2010 1.6 TDI 4x4 estate. Stock wheels are 195/65x15. Can I fit higher/chunkier wheels on it, let say like on the Volvo XC70.

Hei

I think the highest/chunkiest tyre you could fit to the 15" 6.5J stock wheels would be 215/65x15. The Nokian WR G2 215/65 R15 100 H XL is a good tyre; I have them on my 2011 1.6 TDI 4x4 estate, but in the UK stock 205/60x15 size which were on my Octavia when delivered.

215/65x15 gives approximately the same overall tyre+wheel size as the 225/50x17 fitted to the Octavia Scout.
