RSR redhill (powerflow), got quoted around £100, however.. if you let them know you want x2 done see if they can do it cheaper!!:thumbup:  I want mine done too! 2.5" diameter is must (std is 2"), preferred 6x4 oval but twin rounded slash pipes also looks nice. What are you doing for?

Oh, what did you tell them? I just said I want to replace the backbox with a straight through pipe, told them I needed a 1m max 2.5" stainless piping with exhaust tip, minor bending, bracket and clamp on to old pipe (so it can be changed back if need be).. This was on the phone with their 'exhaust specialist'.. :wonder:

i rang up today and said i wanted my backbox removed and to have a 2.5" pipe replace it with a tip put on the end and i was put on hold nd he came back sayin 220inc vat :S

is that at a garage or private job?

jelous much.....

Maybe they were overestimating as they probably had little detail on what you want (lengths of material, bending, labour etc). Had exhaust done there for another car a couple yrs back and it was £150 all in. I assume a pipe and tip cost less!

Welcome to the forums btw

Nah mate local garage near me. Although to be fair I have been going there for years. He said that its pretty strait forward to do, so he couldnt see the need for £££'s but ill see how money is this month, although ill probs flog my blueflame if I get the rectomy

is the standard pipe 2.5"??

Got mine done for £50 and they kept the standard tip, i'll admit it was a bit of a rough job that needed tidied up but for £50 cant complain much
