Vrs-Small rubber Boost Tubing along back of engine

Featured Replies

Hey

Just wondering if the small rubber tubing that goes to boost controller unit and N75 valve think it is some of mine are wearing through just wondering if can replace it with this stuff?

http://www.viperperformance.co.uk/productsearch.php?xscId=2979&mat=121 or cant i as it says not suitable for turbo boost pressure? so it is boost pressure that runs through them tubes or are they just vacuum tubing?

thanks Euan

If its any of these vacuum hoses your talking about then you need 4mm silicone hose, you can get 3m lengths of Samco hose for about £12 off ebay. Like so -

Just looking at replacing the vacuum hoses on my car as some are looking a little shady. I have a funny squawky kind of noise as the engine comes onto boost... doesn't sounds like a boost leak and doesn't happen at full boost.

Roughly how much do I need?

Are these the only ones too? I know there is one going to the turbo too for the VNT thingamy.
