Which gearbox oil.

Need some for next week as unit 18 may need to replace my gearbox oil. Skodas quoted £25 a litre

Just wondering if anyone would recommend another make or should I just go ahead and buy it.

What you having done? Unit 18 charged me Â£14 + vat so just get Ali to supply it?

Have a noise turning right. Skodas changed wheel bearing etc and now there saying its the differential. So ive bought a spare box incase Ali thinks the same.

Cheers mate, ill fire him off a email later and see what he says.

Hi, hopefully you won't mind my question here - I don't have an Octavia, but its close relative from a Spanish brand. But mechanically, they are same. Anyway, I have a 77kW CBZB. It worked flawlessly for the year I own the car, but when this summer started, I noticed occasional loss of power. It only happens in hot weather (around 30 degrees and up) with AC on. In most cases, it happened when I wanted to accelerate after mild climbing at lower gear at ~2000RPM. It feels almost like a limp mode

Hi everyone this has most probably been covered before I'm thinking of getting a stage 1 remap on my 2023 Octavia Vrs petrol . I've been looking it up and some people say I need a DSG tune as well is this true? any help would be grateful.

I have had an ongoing problem for 2 years with my 2018 Kodiaq .2.0l TSI battery losing charge over a few days and the battery charging randomly at different charge rates. To date I have had: 2 replacement batteries (at my cost) then under Extended Warranty (now expired) 1 replacement negative battery lead (with sensor) 1 replacement alternator Symptoms (monitored with Ancel Battery Manager device and multimeter) Battery discharges in a few hours from 100% SoC /12.8v to around 65% then conti

First time starting a project thread, bear with me... Heard about this Roomster not too far from me that might be heading for a scrapyard, and decided to try to acquire it.
