clonkin sound after strutbrace

Featured Replies

Hi!

I fitted forge strutbrace to my vrs and got clonking sound located roughly to left frontcorner where is shockabsorber and so on. I also got v-maxx coilovers but they were quiet before strut so no problem with those. Anyone who got some expirience could point me direction to go.

I have checked roughly everything wishbone, shock seems to sit well etc etc everything seems to be tight and no loose so whats the porblem?

I could be wrong but I think forge braces are very very very close to the airbox and that is known to cause a knock! Seat sport ones have an indent in the brace to clear the airbox, I dont think the forge one does.
