Help needed with hazy headlights

they are oxidized and blurry

any ideas what to do ?

have you tried polishing them, saw a video of a car from Saudi whose headlights were milky white with the sand damaging them and they came up good, easier if you have a rotary though

I am thinking to get PLASTX FROM EURO-CAR-PARTS, then sand it with few sheets of 1000cand 2500 grid sand paper and then use polisher

I had the same problem, previous owner seemed to have stuck those european driving stickers on and then removed them with sandpaper! Looked awful. I bought a headlight polishing kit on ebay, paid £20. Came with a few discs, a couple of grades of very fine grit sandpaper too, and a couple of different fluids/paste. You also need a 3000 rpm drill. Really easy to use and in about 1-2 hours, the headlights were transformed. I also have a lot more light on the road at night now too. Well worth it, just be careful not to scratch the paint around the lights. Best to remove them really, or use loads of masking tape and plenty of water to keep wetting the surface.
