Hi,

I am from chennai(India). I took delivery of skoda fabia(ambient) 1.2 petrol in the month of august 2011 from Gurudev motors in chennai. While going through the user manual provided, i found the engine references are made to TSI. Where as the vehicle delivered to me as per the brochure it should be 1.2mpi 55kw/75ps. But i do not find this in the user manual.

So i am confused now, Anyone had earlier identified this and got any reply from skoda india.

I had written a email to gurudeve motors to clarify on this point.

If your engine is not mentioned in that manual, keep checking the first link to check when it is available.

Thanks for the info, i verified the link in skoda website. But the information i am looking for,not available.

I had sent an email to skoda customer care about this issue. I will update you once i get an reply from skoda.

Please refere this link for the spec mentioned in skoda indian site http://www.newskodafabia.co.in/ . I got 1.2 mpi engine as per this site details.

Also, i would like to know, is it possible find what kind of engine is that in Fabia. I can see only 1.2 in bold letters
