can't remember which is which but there is a N America and a Scandinavia setting for running lights. The difference is that one has front only and the other has front and rear on.

Hope that helps

You need to disable north American dlr and change to Scandinavian.

Thanks! It it possible to make this change on VCDS or can this only be done at the dealership? I failed to locate this on VCDS :(

Cheers

The later Skoda's do not have a Scandinavian setting you need to go into 09: Cent. Elect. then to Byte18.

HOWEVER the code you will see is just a 'mask' hiding the true code, you will only find out the the code by trial and error!!! (and a lot of time)

For example on a UK MY11 Superb the code will be shown as 00, this is just masking the true code that is 31.

See my thread where I found this out.

I changed the coding and lost the DRL's on the front, even when I coded it back to the std UK setting of 00 they still did not work, after a lot of time (I tried all combinations from 1A -1F and 00 - 70 with no other correct combinations apart from 3)

I had a setting named something like "parking lights with terminal 15 enabled". I disabled this and then only the front DRLs are on. I used to have the parking lights at front on as well before this change, so I am not totally sure that this is the correct setting. This was done with VCDS, car is Roomster 1.2 TSI 2011.
