Superskoda

Featured Replies

I see that a few people have bought the LED boot light from Superskoda. Anyone any idea though what their other stuff is like. E.g. Rear bumper covers, door sill covers etc.

Good service?

Bought the Yeti footprint sill covers from them; quick service but expensive P&P. Unfortunately I could not source these any other way.

Thanks. Yep the postage would probably be what would kill it for me. Unless, of course, they had something I couldn't live without. :dull: I take it that you were happy with the quality.

Group buy is usually the way to go but it takes a helluva organising & can be a real pain. :S

Believe these sill covers are original Skoda Parts, just not available in the UK :(

Have you tried ebay?

Didn't think that Superskoda did e-bay.

Like the pooch. Is it a Siberian?

I don't know how effective it is, but there are LED replacement on Ebay (bulbs), only a fraction of the cost.

I meant ebay doing Yeti door sills: http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_kw=skoda&_kw=yeti&_kw=sill

I may buy the plastic one's myself, as the kids have scuffed the sill paintwork

How to get off topic in one easy lesson. :dull: I.e. I'm easily sidetracked. :)

Thanks firstly on the e-bay thing but I'm really looking at Superskoda's other stuff.

We have two.........that's Huskys & not Yetis. :dull: One's a bit old now but the "younger" one is still going strong. Don't race.......they're just pets but great fun.

Good service?

Bought the LED boot light, Yeti footprint sill covers and chrome cup holder surround, all excellent. I also bought the rear bumper protector trim (metal) to try and stop our Border Collie's claws from marking the bumper as she jumps in and out of the back. This proved to be too deep leaving a mm or so of very sharp edge overhanging at the front and back, which would probably have done some damage to the dog's legs at the very least and so was removed with not a little difficulty as the double sided taped certainly gripped OK. It's still lying in the garage, slightly creased. One to write off to experience I think!

Delivery from CZ was excellent but, perhaps understandably, as others have said a bit pricey.

£20 for the standard black sill covers Eur79 for the chrome ones - :p

Thanks sidevalve. The bumper protector was probably be going to be one of my purchases.

So something on Superskoda costs £20 - I'm making prices up here. In the UK it costs £30. With postage the Superskoda one is say £33. Why not just ignore the postage and think of the total cost, £30 vs £33! So what if it costs a bit more! If it is what you want and does not cost £50 or £100 more what is the point of even thinking about inferior options and stressing about "postage"?!

I got stuff from them no problem. Delivered fast and efficiently. Good quality too.

Totally agree, Johann you hit the nail right on the head, as usual! :)

I'm an impatient tart - I buy what I fancy from wherever - the price is secondary to my perceived benefit!

Superskoda have been excellent for me too!

With petrol prices this high, if you live far from a dealer, you might also want to consider the cost of fuel vs. postage!

I actually fancy quite a few bit of kit from Superskoda, but is not sure about quality.

I agree 100% with Merlinman. I have bought quite a few items now from SuperSkoda and have always been happy with the service.

The delivery has always been very quick and trackable online (en route). The quality of the items I have ordered has been excellent

and I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

I did a group buy for the Octavia Scout rear bumper guards as the shipping for 10 was barely more than for one. The comms & service was excellent.

I ordered the rear bumper protection, our dog has long claws... The package came after a week, pretty fast. No problem there. But I was a bit disappointed to find that I would need both a special type of glue and a sort of activator (Glue (terostat MS 930

Betaprime activator) to be able to mount it properly on the bumper. No mentioning of these ingredients on the webpage as far as I know. Such ingredients should have been included in the package, or at least have been an option next to the item shown on the webpage. But apart from that, no problems with the service or the time it took to reach me.

Just for info the Octavia Scout one was supplied with attached self-adhesive strips & alcohol cleaning wipes
