Back from Norfolk

Featured Replies

Just got back from a couple of weeks in Norfolk. Betty loaded up with luggage, sailing gear and more, in the back seat, dog in the boot, bikes on the roof, and the distaff side giving orders from the passenger seat. Passed 20k mile mark during the trip and all is well. Bikes did some damage to the fuel consumption en route, down to about 42mpg (I usually get about 48mpg on this trip).

I must admit I would have expected the fuel consumption to be worse, but seeing as the car is a barn door anyway.......emoticon-0136-giggle.gif

Glad you had a good trip.....beats my 25mpg towing the 'van.

Glad you had a good time Bobdog, and that the weather was nice and sunny for the whole time. emoticon-0103-cool.gif

Not judging by Bobdog's photo of two Yeti in a Holt car park it wasn't! :rain:

Fuel consumption is pretty good overall; I'm confident distaff passengers made sure of that :giggle: Mine does; always a couple of mpg better with distaff on board. :giggle:;)

Mine does worse when she's driving :D

Mostly the weather was good ... a few rainy days, and the Holt car park picture was taken on the day we left

Welcome back Bob.
