hey im sean i am irish i joined here because i am looking to buy a octiva vrs tdi im not sure yet weather to buy a pd or a cr one i just sold a 150pd golf loved the pull but very noisey and had a lot of niggley probelms,does any one have owned both and have any info i would be driving about 100miles a day on country roads diferances i would be interseted in are mpg speed and most important witch one give leaset trouble,also if anyone has one for sle much be blue and 07 up either in uk or eire if in uk near a port also must have history and belt done hope i posted in the right place and someone can help thanks and look forward to using the site...

id go with a 170cr tdi awesome power comfy quiet drive no problems with the two we own not had to take it back for anything and just bought a new one as well they are exceptional

we avergae 560 around town and on a long run we managed 728 so mpg brill

have had mine up to 140mph and still managed 45 mpg that was on a race day
