Seat Sport Plus ;)

Featured Replies

Ok, most of us know I've had problems with my SeatSport intercooler because it cracked. I then had it welded up and it cracked again. I got in touch with Dave at sere motors who said warrenty is void as it's not made for a fabia or something running as much boost as me. My options were to buy a new cooler or have a new core welded in. I chose to have a new core welded in that is a little thicker and has 'better' cooling capabilities and is ment to have a better flow to it :S something like that. I wont bore you any longer. Here's the pics.

Nice :) I still don't see how cooler work without all the air escaping throughout the gaps lol

Any dofference?

Looks good - was that a fair bit cheaper than buying a whole new cooler?

The new core cost £200 and £40 to have welded in. Not exactly cheap but I can't see it going wrong anytime soon. It weight about twice what it used to though. :wonder:

looks good Ross - be good to see just how much the crack in your old one was affecting performance
