Dreadful Customer Service

Featured Replies

I was a really happy Octavia VRS 10 plate driver/owner until I had to replace all the tyres at 19000 miles. The front ones i can live with but the rear ones were worn through to the wire on the inside inch of the tyre.

I only found this out when the car was serviced as I did not think to check them.

My previous Audi S4 got 30000 miles to the rear tyres.

Skoda will not help, they have allegedly checked the geometry and found nothing wrong with the car, however when I first phoned Skoda customer care they said they were aware of an issue.

This is a dangerous issue and one all Octavia vrs divers should be aware of.

The car is not built to be driven slowly, not that i drive mine aggressively, and a rear wheel blow out could have disastrous consequences.

I am really unhappy with Skoda UK's response.

Let me know if you have similar issues with your 10 p[lace Octavia vrs

Chris.

This issue is well known,if you do a search you will read lots about it,were your tyres dunlops by any chance?.
