Was this car at edition 38???

If it is my mate, went down in his mk4 golf and the owner told him it was running 350BHP??? :S

no mate i didnt go to e38, was working :(. not quite 350bhp haha, its more like 230 :p

Looking smart mate, what profile tyres you running? Look far too thick lol

Wheels + tyres ruin the car completely IMO

I can't help but notice the front vRS badge looks a bit wonky

The rear wheels look different from the front, are they of a different design ?

Look like the same design but deeper dish to me. Bit of rear stretch going on there at least.

same as previously mentioned, love the colour and interior, but the wheels do let it down, the tyres dont do the wheels any favors either

The COLOUR i love!!!

The Wheels, dislike, and ditto on the profile of the tyre.

TBH i'm trying to imagine other wheels on the car, i think with that colour scheme it's difficult to find alloys that really suit the car in that colour...

perhaps a Porsche 17" Boxster alloy could look very good...

Yes, the car looks great.

But the odd combination of different size front and rear rims looks a bit odd.

So as said really...

all tyres have stretch on hence then profile. there all the same wheels just that the fronts are 7.5j and rears are 9j.

each to own really, i love that car and how it looks, granted if i could find some different wheels i would, it took me 5months to find them wheels tho and then i had to have them painted haha.

It's not the width of the wheel it's more the profile it doesn't look to be 40 as should be fitted

This was mine with205/40s on a 8j rim

Comparing this with your picture I'd guess yours are 195/45???

there 50 on front. need some new tyres soon so might get some 40's

cheers for advise tas yours does look better with 40

The wheels look better in the flesh

need zenons :p, awesome as always mate

i run 195/45/16 on 7.5J wheels theres enought stretch to avoid rubbing but would really like 40 profile to be honest. With some more drop and smaller profile it would look ace, love the car as it is already but the tyre change would complete it for me. looks better in the later pics mate than the show ones though for me :)

Like the car, like the wheels' style but not the stretch. To my technician's brain it doesn't look right. Plus, if I was forced to drive a car with wheels like that, I'd kerb them every trip.

I prefer a low profile look with tyres that have a modicum of rim protection.

Quite liking the big mouth and number plate mounting. Got any more pics of the front end from in front and front/above?

J.
