Morning,

I picked up a 55 plate octavia vrs yesterday,

car has only done 42,000 miles and is mint,

probably a little late as I own the car now, but,

is there any niggles or problems I should be watching out for?

well I finally got to put a few miles on the clock today,

what a fun car! 'ive bought the sporty family saloon I hoped it was going to be,

on the down side, I blew the rear window washer joint this morning a soaked my boot,

sorted that out only to find the drivers door wont lock with the remote and the drivers mirror wont adjust,

a quick search on here to find what's what, yep, that'll be going back on Monday to get repaired under warranty.

Hi all, Anyone else getting repeat Infotainment updates that don't appear to be installing, I'm getting this problem on my 2024 Superbs Infotainment unit nearly every day, when I look on the Information tab I can see the updates and when it says they're installed, and a prompt to say the installation will be active the next time the car is started, so all looks correct. But literally the next day I'll get another message on the screen to say updates are available and ready to install, and the sa

After dropping a wodge on the Outback for a new battery only for the tailgate issues to immediately recur and funnily enough for a internet search to suddenly (wasn't before) flag that there is a persistent and long standing Subaru issue with a parasitic battery drain via the telematics module. Basically the car continually tries to phone home and drains the battery, the tailgate control module is acutely sensitive to voltage meaning that if the car has sat for more than a day (sometime less) th

First time starting a project thread, bear with me... Heard about this Roomster not too far from me that might be heading for a scrapyard, and decided to try to acquire it. Warning light for non-functioning light bulbs

In my Skoda Superb I recently had the warning light come on on the dash to warn me that I had some non-functioning light bulbs. All of the faulty bulbs have been replaced including both headlight bulbs. The warning light is still illuminated telling me that my left hand main beam is still faulty. Both headlights function as normal in both low and high beam. How can I get the warning light to extinguish? (all bulbs seem to be functioning correctly)
