Hi, I have had a rattle from the glove box door for some time but is now really starting to annoy. If I hold the door of the glove box tight the rattle more or less disappears but there is a bit of a rattle from the passenger side dash passenger door area. Can anyone advise?

I had the same - it was the clip things on the inside of the door. ive put thick felt under it and its sorted.

This area seems to be a common complaint for rattles on the Octavia. Mine does the same. The dealer put some felt pads on the glovebox rests but that never worked.

As above, if I (or my passenger!) presses against the glovebox it improves. If they push against the piece of trim between the glovebox and the door it disappears.

I'm going to try another common fix, pop off the end panel of the dashboard (the bit you can't see with the door closed) and tighten up the Torx screws.
