Hi i've had a good look around and can't seem to find anyone else has had this issue.

I've just got a new Octavia SE and bought the MDI unit and leads off of ebay, i've wired it all in but the head unit doesn't seem to see the MDI unit, if i press the Media button the head unit displays "No Medium Found". (ive tried connecting a iPhone 4 & 3, also a usb stick and hard drive).

Im i doing something wrong or is there something else i need to do?

Does anybody know if this model number makes a difference? 5N0 035 342D it was advertised as 5N0 035 342B! It does say Skoda on it, should this unit be ok?
