Hydraulic Bike Rack - any reviews

Featured Replies

Thhinking of buying Skodas Hydraulic bike rack for roof mounting of bikes. Looks like the hydraulic arm brings bike off roof and down to side of car removing need to carry step ladders.

Can anyone who has this specific system comment on whether it is any good?

Thanks

O U C H !!!

That works out to over £700 to put 2 bikes on the roof (with Skoda rood bars) and it's max 2 lifts per car as well.

I've got Thule bars and 3 cheapish carriers that have worked absolutely fine for several years and which could be had for under £150 the lot at today's prices. You buy a nice bike with the other £550.

Why would you need step ladders? Unless it is a 4x4 you can easily lift on and off bikes from the roof. :wonder:
