Sorry to drag up the whole 'will a mk2 bumper fit X' subject, but i have used the search and so far havent found the answer to my specific question.

Anyway, i need to wrack your collective brains!

I have a MK2 caddy pickup (as we all know, this is a Felicia pickup with a diffrent grille!) and i was looking into fitting a mk2 Felicia front bumper as it is 100x better looking than the dreary commercial spec unit that comes as standard.

Does anyone know if a mk2 felicia bumper will fit onto my pickup, or am i looking at a felicia front end conversion (Bonnet / lights/ Grille)?

It will fit yes, but you need the whole lot including the bonnet and lights, grille etc, there was a feller on here not so long ago that did it on his, I believe he also had to change t front slam panel too which involves drilling out about 30 spot welds.

I'm not sure whether the metalwork in the front of the caddy is that different from the Mk1 hatch, but I successfully fitted a Mk2 front bumper to my Mk1 hatch without fitting the whole of the Mk2 front end.

hi, i changed the front, i did change the whole front panel but you could just change the slam panel & alter bonnet cable, the head lights all bolt in, its a fairly easy job,
