clutch bearing

Featured Replies

HI

Can anyone point me in the right direction towards getting a new clutch bearing for my 1.9 diesel felly.

I fitted a new 3 piece clutch about 1050mls ago and the bearing has started to scream when i let the clutch pedal out ,i know the pressure plate and the clutch plate are still good but i cant seem to find anywhere that can supply me with just the bearing as they all sell them in a kit?

At that low mileage you should be given a replacement, for the poor workmanship in the release bearing.

Let suppliers hear the sound, show them your receipt and have a strong attitude for satisfaction (not swearing or violent) and get a free replacement.emoticon-0148-yes.gif

Good Luck mate.

the clutch release bearing is the same on all felicia models, so a 1.3 or 1.6 model has the same one as the diesel, i'll have a look at home, i think i've got a brand new one kicking about somewhere.. they cost about £15 from the skoda dealer iirc, also my local motor factors can supply them seperately too
