I had my bumper strips painted but just removed the door mouldings altogether rather than painting them but mine were painted by a friend as a favour so cant help you on what they would cost to get done but i prefer them colour coded on mine :)

To re fresh the balck bumper strips use a spray can from halfors, black obviously! lol

Spray it over and then wipe of the excess with a cloth, i used satin black and wiped it over with a cloth with a bit of WD40 on and it looks spot on.

But i am going to get coulour coded strips and i think it makes the car look so much more modern.

been tryiung to get some already painted of of a Bora, just no joy with the breakers at the moment!

You can bring the condition of the plastic trim up to like new with a decent plastic cleaner and protector from autoglym or many other brands. Done this to mine a few times. Car washing/waxing and sun can bleach the plastic, but as stated this can be sorted.

I always use autoglym bumper care, works well.
