it also looks better and noticed a quicker spool up of the turbo

i went for a 89mm hard pipe with 90mm joiners its fits very tightly lol

Funnily enough mine was leaking air there, so very good idea, looks good to.

stupid idea if you ask me.... the engine moves and the airbox doesnt... so to me somethings got to give....

and from experience i reckon it will rub on the coolant pipes just below it

you want something with a bit of flex and that wont rub on the coolant pipes

this is the best stuff i could find for the job

Gotta agree with jase on this one. You would have been better with just the silicone reinforced pipe

Where did you get your pipes from? Looking for some pipes now to join up my bigger throttle body to the airbox...

I think the worry might be shaking the MAF tube, MAF and associated electrics to bits. In theory, the engine shouldn't move side to side very much. I have a vague idea that the bottom of the airbox is mounted on a rubber bblock on one end too. Though I can't recall the specifics.

The hose i used was 2 fly flexible silicone.... Very rigid but still flexible

Bmc was also fixed down... Check your coolant pipes regularly cause they dont take much rubbing to hOle
