I'm not a massive fan of this but if we all liked the same things it would be very dull on here. I saw a race blue vRS with a black grill surround near Newcastle last week, wasn't you was it?

Most people didn't like my wrapped grill surround but I think it looks really good.

you missed blanking the reg in one or two of the photos. looks good though

I like the surround on yours, looks very well against the white I think.

I thinking about getting my bonnet wrapped satin black also. I'll upload a photoshop picture I've done.

Thanks, I've re-uploaded these to photobucket so should replace the samples.

Nahh ... would look horrible ... Don't even like the de chroming of the front grille.How about masking and carefull painting the inside edge of the grill chrome surrround in red.like on golf GTI's ?,think that would look great ... A touch of chrome especially on race blue really look the business.If it didn't look great skoda wouldn't have done it ... My opinion.

Where did you get your winter wheels/tyres from?

Could be mate,but i still disagree,I don't like the FL grille or front end if we come to that matter but the pre FL smallish headlamps and wide but low chrome grille set up is just fantastic ... A badgeless chrome grille would do fine but a whole matt black or colour coded grille looks stupid IMO ...

I live in Carlisle and am 100% sure I know who did the wrap work for you, Sign IT.

A mate of mine owns it and does some great work, done me a good few stickers jobs in the past.

Does the wrap give better protection from stone chips than paint?

Hi Ian, I'm actually from Cockermouth way but yes I was in Carlisle on Saturday and Joe from Sign IT done the wrap for me, so far it's only under the grille however, I was thinking about the bonnet as well.

Sorry dude I feel awful saying it but to me anyway it would just make me think you've had a crash and your waiting to get it painted grill or bonnet especially both. That said same as always what you think is the most important thing we all have slightly different tastes.
