  1. Just ordered the same LED H7/H1's from this ebay store... safe to say I am very impressed and thank you for posting the link!! I just need to plug the neutral wire into the bulb holder for the H1's - bit of a pain but will be worth it as when tested they are very bright!! H7's - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-2017-ALL-IN-ONE-50W-5000LM-H7-CREE-LED-SUPER-BRIGHT-WHITE-HEADLIGHT-CAR-KIT/162710985292?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2648 H1's - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-ALL-IN-ONE-50W-5000-LUMENS-H1-CREE-LED-SUPER-BRIGHT-WHITE-HEADLIGHT-CAR-KIT/152741255880?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2648
  2. Cheers for the suggestions guys, definitely not the springs or exhaust/bracket related. Checked the drop links and rarb and seems stiff, no play in them at all. Going to have a good look this weekend, I'm going to inspect the bushes and top mounts first then go from there. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  3. Right firstly, I've just recently had front track rods/ends and rear arms, so nothing to do with them... When driving in bumpy/rough roads or slight pot holes I've got a loud clunking noise from the rear, almost as though something is loose? This can happen at speed or slow driving. I've checked new arms and drop links and all seems fairly solid, so is there anything you could suggest? Cheers Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  4. Window regulator needs changed, my Octavia done the same. Rear passenger side. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  5. Ah right, so did they pay for your PVWI inspection?Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  6. So do you recommend paying for an independent inspection, is pvwi2010 as Skoda / Warranty team say or... Go to other bosyshops for independent inspections/paint depths?I've not heard from them since my last 'argument' with the dealer so I'd assume they think I've gave up... Ha ha, yeah right! I just want to take the right route to proceed and preferably without paying out of my pocket. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  7. Do you suggest one opinion or a couple as evidence? It's either that or pay for a inspector, like pvwi2010. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  8. Thanks for the reply, would you mind if I asked how much is was independently, how many panels, etc? Pm if necessary.
  9. Here goes... I've got rust/corrosion from inside-out on doors, rear arch/quarter areas. Skoda Customer Services are basically **** and the they/dealer are refusing to accept my claim. The authorised VAG bodyshop took paint depth readings (in my presence) and said (for example) 3/4 panels seemed original paint, the 4th was possibly "iffy"... Skoda then looked at the readings (apparantly) and said that 3/4 panels were NOT genuine and the 4th might be... But this 4th panel was impact damage. Contradicting, right? They then said it was impact damage and "afterall, the car is 8 years old, sir" ......... I then argued (politely) that the paint wasn't broken, except one part which is worse than others and it is impossible to be impact damage as clearly inside out with no broken paint/lacquer. I also went on to say, "why offer 10 year warranty, to then blame the car being 8 year old" !?!? She (branch warranty advisor/admin) then went on about working in the industry for 15 years, not that I give a hoot.. I also argued you can not see little rust bubbles on photos, especially poor quality supermarket cameras that they use. They would need to "SEE" the car in person. Anyways, I've stripped back seals and everything and there is NO sign of overspray, which unless a bodyshop removed every panel and done a full and proper job (yeah, right!), there's most likely going to be slight overspray, runs on the insides/edges and signs of repair/repsray. Also my paint depths are somewhere between about 100-160 microns, I can't remember exactly. Shouldn't this be way higher if the car had been reprayed? I'm pretty sure respraying would give readings higher than this? Anyways, do you agree? How can I fight this? Do I try another dealer?
  10. Right, I have the same issue as you. Rust from inside-out on doors, rear arch/quarter. Skoda Customer Services are **** and the dealer are refusing to accept my claim. The authorised VAG bodyshop took paint depth readings and said (for example) 3/4 panels seemed original paint, the 4th was possibly "iffy"... I also went on to say, "why offer 10 year warranty, to then blame the car being 8 year old" !?!? I mean, come on Skoda, sort your selves out. She then went on about working in the industry for 15 years, not that I give a hoot.. I've stripped back seals and everything and there is NO sign of overspray, which unless a bodyshop removed every panel and done a full and proper job, there's most likely going to be slight overspray, runs on the insides/edges. Also my paint depths are somewhere between about 110-160 microns, shouldn't this be way higher is the car had been reprayed? I'm pretty sure respraying is thicker than this? Anyways, do you agree? How can I fight this? Do I try another dealer?
  11. Excellent! I'm use to scrapes and holding traffic up around speedbumps! [emoji57]
  12. If it's bad I'll just upgrade the shocks to the H&R cup ones. Definitely can't be as bad as the coilovers I've got now.
  13. I don't think I'd want to put anyone through it, but I'll maybe post them on here when I've taken them off. Only got photos of it on coilovers (below). I will post some new ones once the springs are fitted.
