Using VCDS resets all my MFD settings?

Featured Replies

Is this a normal on my car (2010 Superb Kombi, Elegance trim)?, it's bit of a pain.

I'm using V10.6

Never heard of that happening before. Is it a genuine Ross-Tech cable?

Yep, Genuine Ross-Tech Micro-CAN. The same happened when someone elses "Hex-CAN" cable was used too.

Nope never had that happen

Only heard of that with 3rd party cables.

Is it just connecting, or writing changes? What are you changing?

Changes were made each time, this time I disabled the "dorky" cornering fog lights

Just plugged in today, to go over what changes I made yesterday, but I did not make any changes this time and all my MFD settings were preserved.

So it would appear to reset them only when VCDS changes are made?
