Skoda Dealer Service History

Featured Replies

Hi,

I am looking at buying a 2002 octavia 1.8t 4x4 and all the records the dealer has is the stamps in the service log.

Does anyone know if a skoda dealer would have electronic records that might verify the log book?

Best wishes

John

I know when i had my BMW they had a database of all customers so when i called them with the reg they new the history of the car while i owned it so i would assume large skoda dealers would do the same. It was handy because it was a record of every time i had the car in the garage from a simple service, warranty work or dealer recall work. I got a copy of it when i sold the car for the new owner.

I have had the service history for two Octavias verified by Skoda dealers in the past. Not saying they'd do that for everyone though, but they were happy to oblige.

They'll have it on file. Some can be awkward about it though. You could try Skoda UK if your local dealer won't oblige.
