Good Indie - West Side Woodford Green

The Octy is just out of warranty and I looked for a local indie. West Side have got me out of trouble twice in about three months. first a pillock wiped out my door mirror. Done beautifully in half a day. Today the drivers door window fell off of its fixings. Took it in about 11.30, went for a coffee and collected at 1.30.

I'll be back there!

If you are NE London or Essex, it's on bus routes and about 20 minutes walk from the Central Line!

There have been a number of posts in the Facebook Skoda Karoq Owners Group recently related to the appearance on the infotainment screen when starting the car of a message about Data Tracking. I too have had this but it has now stopped. Then a new longer message referring to EU data protection and sharing - that was the gist I think as I didn’t take a photo and it’s no longer being displayed. Adding this for anyone that comes across the same issue. Noticed a slightly extended crank a day or so ago, along with a few seconds worth of poor idle and then ran as normal. Checked for codes, and none showing. Checked plugs when I got home again and all ok. Checked the lpfp count and was at or around 50% at idle. No hesitation or misfires and none detected on scanner. Rail holding pressure within parameters and both lpfp and hpfp showing requested and actual pressures where they should b

Hello, recently my air conditionor kinda stopped working. In the morning or in the evening everything works just fine, normal operation. In the middle of the day, being hot outside (30 to even over 40 degrees outside temperature), when i start the car, for 10-20 seconds everything works, after that a noise like a buzz starts to hear from around the middle of the car. The fan for air conditioning and heater on my 2006 Octavia Mk2 L&K is not working. I have checked the fuses and they are OK. Does it have a relay that might have failed? I am hoping it is not the fan unit itself, as this seems to be peculiar to RHD models with climatronic and was discontinued by Skoda in 2022. (Part no. 1K2 820 021).
