Hi there I'm replacing my rear springs with uprated lower ones can some1 confirm do the tighter coils of the spring go up into the car and the more open coils on the bottom....

On my coilovers the tighter wound springs are on the car side

On mine, there is only one way up they can go, since there is a rubber insert for the top of the spring, and the diameters are different top to bottom.

As for the coils, the tighter wound coils are at the top
