  1. Thanks for that feedback, very useful. I exercised the switch a bit to make sure that it was crud free, and it hasn't done it last couple of days. I'll see how I go and if it comes back I'll seek dealer assistance. Cheers all
  2. No cruise on this one, only limiter. Seems to only do it part way through a journey, when it restarts from a stop-start event. I'll jiggle the switch and see if it goes away. If not, I will give the dealer a call, just my experience with dealers is they tend to skirt around issues like this until you give up and go away!
  3. 2019 Fabia Monte-Carlo Combi 1.0 TSi 110 6-speed. Standard spec apart from 17" wheel option, and false boot floor. Collected on 21st March. Replaces a 2015 Octavia SE Hatch 1.2 TSi 110 DSG. First impressions, I'm not missing the DSG, it feels quicker (probably because it's lighter), and the engine sounds like a V6!
  4. Have you given all the correct permissions for the Bluetooth connection? I think I missed the pop-up when I first connected my Huawei P20, and had to re-add it to the list of Bluetooth devices.
  5. Hey, this issue (image attached, exclamation mark at the bottom of the display) is occurring maybe 2-3 times per week, prevents me using the speed limiter until I key off and back on. Car seems fine otherwise. Any ideas what it is telling me, or even better if there is a known issue or fix? 2019 Monte-Carlo Combi 1.0 TSi 110 Cheers!
  6. Hi, have problem with Haldex :D don't know if its working or faulty. Had the car to DM in Hudds they found error code an re set it. Not noticed any difference, got Torque app and dongle but it is no use unless you want to check your 0 - 60 time, anyway for a fiver it seemed like a good idea.

There seem to be a lot of sensors involved with the Haldex operation and I wondered if you could have a look with your set up.

No rush, DM said to fetch it back when I felt there was a problem.

Probably waiting for me to save up a few hundered quid to get a new pump fitted.

Anyway will hear from you later.

Not needed now, got Yeti back to DM in Hudds.

  7. Yeah, the estate doesnt have the cross bracing behind the rear seats like the hatch, so Skoda put 16s on it with taller tyres to reduce the flex through the chassis
  8. Sold to red devil subject to collection on Friday. I don't expect any issue, but will re-open at the weekend if I still have it. Thanks for looking.
  9. 3 years old, done approx 35k miles, good condition, removed as I have re-fitted original exhaust. Will need 2 new bolts, as they had rusted and sheered upon removal. Open to offers, but for purpose of advert will accept £50. Would prefer collection from HD2 postcode, but can deliver locally or post at buyers cost. PM me if you want more info, or for me to get pics. Thanks for looking, Andrew.
  10. I get about 65 miles to £20, based on £1.36 avg price for petrol and a realistic 20mpg driving to work and back. When I do get to put in on an a-road or motorway I can usually achieve 35-40mpg which is about 110-130 miles to £20. I usually drive faily sensibly, but typical Yorkshire terrain and traffic tends to dictate my economy for me!
  11. Our lass's MG ZR had Dunlop Sports on it, which needed replacing at MOT time. Was on a budget so put the NS2s on it, and fook it was dreadfull. As soon as the roads got a bit wet there was nothing, no grip, no feedback, just lifeless. It's one of those that if you are not out to push the limits of the car, and just want to drive to work and to the shops, then they will be fine.. but you do get what you pay for with tyres, and I'm glad there on her car and not on mine!
  12. Checked that the turbo oil drain is not blocked, and that oil is returning to the sump okay?
  13. Ta, I've got a bike shock pump somewhere which is pretty accurate so I'll have a go at pressurising it, see when it starts to open. If it is opening early, weak spring etc, could I add pre-load to the actuator as an interim measure to achieve the required stock boost levels..? Does the engine throw a code in the event of over-boost, as a fail safe?
