Does anybody know if the Octy vRS has got a standard alarm? Not just an immobiliser. And if so, is it a Cat 1 alarm?

No alarm...just an immobiliser.

Oh ok... Thank you for letting me know. I just presumed that as its a relatively new car, it would come with an alarm. That is very worrying now! lol

Although its not standard, quite a lot of the earlier RSs did seem to have Scorpion alarms fitted to them by dealers - mine's got one. :)

None of our 54 plates at work came with them as standard..so probably (unless the dealer fit one for you)

Not standard - I had a Skoda badged "scorpion" cat 1 unit fitted by dealer pre delivery - think it was about
