Tom tom live services are only free for a year .....but I have the via live and so far it is magic, google search etc etc

and it is UK and ireland only was £159 in halfords and £30 cash back but I think the cashback has now finished.

Any of the newer models (VIA and GO 100x models) get a right slating as the LIVE traffic is limited to only 40 miles ahead of you! Kind of useless. The older LIVE models have a 100 mile range (TT did reduce it to 50 but after a successful campaign on facebook have reverted to the original 100).

I would go for a refurb GO540 which you should be able to get for similar money and is a far superior model than any of the newer eyecandy models with reduced functionality.

I have a XL LIVE and it is good, but the processor is slower than the GO540 and it doesn't have a SD card slot.
