Skoda overcomplicates things again...

Featured Replies

Bought a replacement electric mirror to fit to my car whilst I sort out the dodgy paint job on the drivers mirror.... My mirror has a long wire about 2 to 3 feet long to a choc block connection.... It would appear the new mirror has just 6" of cable to a smaller type of connector, presumably there is another bit of loom that goes to the usual square connector in the door *sigh.... The only difference in the new one is it came from a fabia vRS whereas presumably mine are pre-vRS era....

Can't be bothered for now though so I have a mirror I need to adjust by pushing on the glass and no electric.... Hope I get the original mirror back a.s.a.p! :dull:

vRS mirrors all have the smaller connection. Choc block connector points to a repair job imo... could be wrong though but can't see that being the standard fitting from the factory
