Hi all

When I ordered my Octavia Estate 2.0TDi 4x4 on June 30, was originally told to expect delivery at the end of January 2012. I went in a month later to add maxidot to the order and was told the build date is now week 41. Called in today, now given build date week 49. So will I get delivery before or after Christmas, how long does it take from the factory to dealer? Then how long will the dealer have it before I can pick it up, it will have a dealer fit tow bar (they bring in an external tow bar fitter).

Not complaining, it will be worth waiting for.

Was told by my dealer yesterday, that if I was to order an Octavia now, provided it was a petrol, delivery would be in December.....getting better and the vat free offer does apparantly apply to new orders as well...
