Just a quick question to find out if the VCDS-Lite Compatible USB Interface will work with VCDS Full 10.6.2

If not, what interface do I need to purchase. I have been donated a laptop with VCDS 10.6.2 on, but no interface to go with it. I have both serial and usb ports, so whatever is the best.

True they ain't cheap, but they do pay for themselves after a few jobs as dealers like to charge for there time

All Bank Statements are online. No paper for me :-)

Still wouldn't get away with it though. I will look into the full cable, it does make for good practice. Don't want some dodgy software killing my car :-(

LOL, hoping to add a Cruise Control stalk and switch it on when I do get it. Will have to look round for good codes like, indicators flashing when hard braking. And hoping to turn on coming home lights. It is getting to winter after all.

A Micro-CAN will do the hob just fine on an Octavia like yours, it's a little less expensive than a HEX+CAN System.
