Im looking at replacing the crap soft bendy wheels on my LE. Ive seen some 8x18 et 35 that im interested in. Would they fit ok ?

I run 8J ET28 on the front at the moment without any rubbing, but that's with 215 width tyres.

At stock ride height, the wheels sit further out due to the suspension geometry. ET35 8J with a 225 tyre would look like it's sitting too far out at the front at stock ride height. It wouldn't look good. At the rear you might just about rub over big undulations when you've got people / stuff in the back.

I agree with Rob - at stock ride height you're probably better off around ET45 8J.

To give you some idea, this is ET43 8J with 225 tyres at stock ride height on the front and ET28 on the rear...
