Reversing sensors/chime staying on

Featured Replies

Hi Folks. I have a six month old vrs and this morning I reversed out of my driveway and the chime for the reversing sensor was on as if I was going to hit something, even though there was nothing behind me. I took the car in/out of reverse a few times and the chime did not go away. The indication from the bolero sreen indicated that I was very close to something. Any ideas?

Have you given the sensors a quick clean?

Have you spray-washed your car recently, or driven in heavy rain? I have found that if moisture gets in behind the rear bumber, then I get this problem until it dries out.

I had this but a manual adjustment of the towing electrics fixed it again.

Vandals or kids?
