Featured Replies

Need help and information on coilovers and lowering springs and exactly what is better for my superb. Ive got 18" OEM genuine audi alloys and my car looks bit to high. Thats why want to lower it but stil want to have it a wee bit comfortable. What should i get and how much drop it if so?? Thanks

for nice ride get springs 35-40mm it will be just right

but

coilovers will get it nice and low to the ground but if you go for cheep kit it will be very jumpy and hard ride you will loose all luxury feeling of the car

...

you can always go for coilovers but dont drop it more then 30mm due to uprated shokes as standard so even at 30mm it will feel hardbut not as hard as it will if you go to 50mm (stone-Hard)

thanks for all advices

well

A

2 std. shocks at least 100

+

springs at least 100

=

200

(will last up to 3years)

20mm to 40mm drop

B

cheap coilovers

200

(12 months warranty)

30mm to 100mm drop

so it will all depend on how low you wish to go

By the way : YES Passat springs will fit superb 3U

i had it on my superb and it was perfect

well its the best thing so far i agree but

the cost is £1000 for the simple kit is a bit too much
