Hi All,

Firstly thanks for creating such a site where advice is readily availible, brilliant! (",)

I have a 1.2 2004 model Skoda Fabia Estate. It has done only done 25,500miles from new, garage kept & FSSH.

OK, here is my problem-

THE CAR WILL NOT TURN OVER.

It has also a brand new battery.

Symptoms-

My lights, all work

However when main beam is on their is an insane clicking noise from the display.

I have the usually icons light up when the key is inserted and turned once.

On the second turn of the key, there is a few display sign lit up

They consist of (DESCRIBING AS BEST AS POSSIBLE)

*A steering wheel logo with an exclamation mark to the right of it

*A round circl with ABS in written in the middle of it

*And a round circle with an exclamation mark in the middle of it, this appears to be the handbrake.

It then begins to flash on and off, and make a very loud beeping sound.

Not sure if it is worth mentioning, but this happened the same day I swapped my wheels over for a new set???

I am not a tech head, and dont know a great deal about cars, but i really do appreciate any help, advice or assistance.

Via this website or my personal email - [email protected]

Thanks guys

Hi and welcome aboard.

Welcome :)

Sounds like a battery/starter/immobiliser issue to me.
