Fabia 2 1.9TDI with Bosch EDC17

I've been driving with my Fabia II 1.9TDI around 200 000km in three years. I was about to do a little tune up for the engine, but it turned out to be a bit odd EDC17 engine control system in it... How is it, have anybody had any experiences with that in power tuning?

I've got all the DPF "flower power" nonsense and off it'll go as soon as we manage to get it off the software...

And a small but worthy tip for all who is looking for a better mileage. Remove the existing exhaust muffler! I got my mileage down around 0,3 litre/100km (Dunno what it is in MPG though...). Helps a bit giving a better exhaust flow, sound didn't change much. Only when it'll empty the particle filter it sounds like a real thing .

Has anyone done any heavyer modifications to that BSW engine? What kind of injector nozzles should be used when seeking more power, does the older fabia VRs' nozzles the thing? How about the Turbo, any tips for the right way?
