Featured Replies

hi

i have a problem with vag-com and my octavia 2.0 TDI 140cv year 2005

I Used vcds version 10.6 and 11.2

When i press autoscan after 4 second error "function not supported by the gateway"

When i press Select control module and choose any options after 4 second "no response from controller"

WHY???

PS in the options menu when i do the Test, result OK!!!!

sorry my english

Its not a cheap cable from Hong Kong is it?

Is the ignition on? :)

Is the ignition on? :)

I had this yesterday, use the test and save all comes up fine.

I sorted it on mine by using reset button in vag-com to factory

Also make sure the Interface is plugged in properly

That's your problem - a cheap and nasty Chinese knock off cable.

VCDS works perfectly with windows7

Buy cheap buy twice

I test my cable with audi a4 and golf works perfect, why not in my skoda octavia?

MK4 Golf by any chance? they are non CANBUS whereas your Octavia needs a CANBUS interface (genuine Ross-Tech)

As above. Cut-off is about middle of 2004. All cars before 2004 can be used on old Vag-com. Newer cars 2005+ need proper VCDS. Just buy the full program! :p :p :p
