I've just gone onto MyTyres to buy some winter tyres and wheels as a set for the Octy vRS. But when it asks me what car I've got, there isn't an option for Hatchback Octavia RS TDi, so I'm just wondering which one I should use? I don't think it should matter if I use the petrol option, but just wanted to check on here first just in case.

Think you will be fine using the petrol, as the wheels and tyres are the same for petrol and diesel models.

I ordered winter tyres off Mytyres last week for wife's car, checked tonight and they have went up £12 since then !

Damn! I'm just deciding whether to go for steelies or alloys to have my winter tyres on at the moment. Really can't decide!

Prices on mytyres have gone up a lot since I ordered my winters in July

Yeah I would have ordered mine that early but I only bought the Octy in August so funds have been a bit tight until now!

I just ticked the petrol option for my TDI VRS also. Wheel/tyre fitment is the same for petrol and diesel.

if all else fails and you're not 100% sure, phone them, they speak better English than I do and are very helpful. The web site was giving me conflicting info and I couldn't order the wheel and tyre combo I was after, just tyres only, so I phoned and asked and they just sorted it all out. Tyres (and steelies) arrived three days later.
